I am Mr Bliss, a London based artist-creator of lovingly hand finished and hand painted vintage mirrors. Each unique creation is embellished with a dazzling array of costume jewellery, verre églomisé and fine-cut crystal droplets. Each mirror has had its heritage restored and reimagined and has been transformed into a stunning item of beauty that catches the eye of those that gaze into them. 

My work is inspired by my professional background in interior design, blended with my interest in gardening and visual display. It references the tradition of decorative arts and is drawn by a love of luxurious materials. I apply my instinctive command of pattern, symmetry and colour to create pieces which are timelessly elegant and thoroughly unique.

The reverse of each mirror has been painted in Eau de nil, the clasps and chain are original and have been refinished. Some of the mirrors have a patina to them, but I like to think of these as being age spots…….or beauty spots depending upon your opinion!!!
